Duties

• Safely operate Class B commercial box truck across assigned routes the United States.
• Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or equipment like liftgate and pallet jack when necessary
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Drive confidently on route driving assignments, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Manage freight delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely drop-offs at various locations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and route documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing excellent customer service

Requirements

• Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in truck driving over the road including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using manual methods when applicable
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and documentation accurately
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads when necessary and perform routine vehicle inspections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $142.00 - $228.00 per day
