Class B tri axle dump driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class B tri axle dump driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate a specialized dump truck equipped with a tri axle configuration, responsible for transporting and delivering bulk materials efficiently and safely across various routes. Your expertise in truck driving, load & unload procedures, and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to construction, landscaping, or waste management projects with a focus on precision and professionalism.

Duties

• Safely operate a Class B tri axle dump truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials accurately using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods.
• Drive designated routes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of materials to job sites or clients.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checks on brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups and drop-offs.
• Assist with the securing of loads to prevent shifting or spillage during transit.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, with a Manuel transmission particularly with Class B commercial vehicles and dump trucks.
• Strong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently
• Familiarity with freight handling equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks is a plus.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.25 per hour
