Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class B Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of medium-duty trucks, including those with manual transmissions, to deliver freight efficiently and securely. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Will have to transport equipment throughout New York and New Jersey !! (Start Point East Brunswick)

Monday- Friday

Start time usually depending on the day.

Start time maybe from (6:00am-8:00am - Until completed 8 hour or more depending much work)

Must be flexible for over time!

Down time will be asking to do duties in the warehouse

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B trucks with manual transmissions for local and regional deliveries.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary.
• Drive a variety of vehicle types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers.
• Ensure all cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered on the road.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance reports.

Experience

• Proven truck driving experience with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) suitable for Class B vehicles.
• Experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with handling various cargo types such as freight, refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or dump truck materials.
• Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving and load & unload responsibilities.
• Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation standards.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
