LBH Motors and LBH Classic Truck Parts are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant to directly support the owners in managing both the classic vehicle restoration shop (LBH Motors) and the new classic truck parts store (LBH Classic Truck Parts).
This is a unique, hands-on opportunity for an ambitious student to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world business setting, blending operations management with digital marketing and e-commerce.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a current college student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or E-Commerce. A passion for classic vehicles is a definite plus.
Core Responsibilities
As an Assistant to the Owners, your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation and strategic growth of both business segments:
I. Classic Truck Parts Store Management (LBH Classic Truck Parts)
- E-Commerce Merchandising & Listings: Manage the entire online retail process. This includes photographing automotive parts, writing clear and compelling product descriptions, and listing inventory across the company website and external platforms (e.g., eBay).
- Inventory & Fulfillment: Assist in the development and maintenance of a precise inventory tracking system. Receive, organize, and manage parts stock. Process and fulfill online orders by securely packaging and shipping products.
- Retail Operations: Assist with the daily setup, organization, and operations of the new retail store, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
- Branded Merchandise: Plan, organize, and manage all LBH-branded merchandise for both in-store and online retail.
II. Restoration Shop & Business Assistance (LBH Motors)
- Restoration Project Support: Assist the owners with organizational and administrative tasks related to active classic truck restoration projects and shop workflow.
- Operations Support: Provide occasional hands-on support in the restoration shop as needed, assisting with general organizational and operational tasks.
III. Digital Marketing & Growth
- Social Media & Content Creation: Create and schedule engaging social media content (photos, videos, stories) for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to promote parts, merchandise, and exciting restoration progress.
- Website & SEO: Assist with updating and managing company websites. Support the implementation of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to increase online visibility and drive traffic to the parts store.
- Performance Analytics: Help track key engagement and sales metrics to report on the success of digital marketing campaigns and optimize future strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently enrolled in a college program (Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic principles of e-commerce.
- Basic experience with or knowledge of photo editing is a plus.
- A proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
