Classic Car Restoration, Mechanical Technician

Boyd’s Customs and Classics, an extremely busy Classic Car Restoration shop is seeking a skilled Mechanical technician.

The successful applicant must:

-Have his / her own tools and a clean driving record

- Electrical Install & Troubleshooting Skill. Ability to install & troubleshoot wiring systems and aftermarket electronics such as gauges, power windows, fuel injection kits, LED lights etc.

- Able to read / understand electrical diagrams, create circuits

- Mechanical Knowledge / Expertise needed to remove / install engines, transmissions, and suspension components

- Detailed Oriented, Organized, Team Player, Can-do Attitude

Additional skills preferred but not required:

- Project Scope, able to successfully plan out the complete assembly of a classic vehicle from hanging doors and fenders, installing glass including, chrome & trim items

- Alignments, Wheel / Tire mount & balancing

- Remove / Install Interior components

- Fabrication Skills, ability to fabricate mounts / brackets, custom exhausts

- Welding, Mig & Tig

And above all else have a passion for classic cars.

Monday thru Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM, no weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
