Summary

We are seeking to hire experienced automotive technicians to join our team of classic car experts. We’re looking for smart, self-motivated mechanics who can diagnose and repair everything from 1930s cruisers to modern American muscle cars. Pay ranges from $30 to $40 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, including classic, vintage, muscle, and modern American cars
• Perform engine work, transmission service, suspension and brake repairs, fuel system diagnostics, and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Fabricate or adapt parts when replacements are unavailable, using creativity and sound mechanical judgment
• Collaborate with the service team, sales department, and restoration crew to complete repairs and meet deadlines
• Maintain detailed and accurate service records for each vehicle
• Uphold shop standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality workmanship
• Perform test drives and final inspections to ensure vehicles are ready for sale or delivery
• Communicate effectively with the service manager about parts needs, time estimates, and repair status

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience (classic car experience strongly preferred)
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently without relying on modern scan tools
• Experience with carbureted engines, drum brakes, basic wiring, and vintage drivetrains (strongly preferred)
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt when working with rare or obsolete parts
• Familiarity with American makes such as Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, and others from the 1930s–1990s
• Welding, fabrication, or light restoration skills are a strong plus
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• ASE certifications a plus but not required
