Hiring: Classical Dance Teacher (Female)

Responsibilities:

• Teach and train students in Indian Classical Dance forms (e.g., Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Odissi, etc.) as per school curriculum.
• Conduct regular dance classes for different grades, nurturing rhythm, expression, and posture in students.
• Choreograph performances for annual functions, cultural programs, assemblies, and inter-school competitions.
• Introduce students to the cultural and traditional aspects of Indian classical dance.
• Prepare lesson plans and maintain discipline and engagement during practice sessions.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback and encouragement.
• Collaborate with music and art departments for integrated cultural presentations.
• Ensure costumes, music, and stage setups are organized for performances.

Qualification & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree / Diploma in Indian Classical Dance from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching or performance experience preferred.
• Expertise in one or more classical dance forms (Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong stage management and choreography skills.
• Passionate about teaching and promoting Indian cultural heritage.
