Classical dance teacher

Job Summary The Dance Teacher is responsible for teaching dance techniques and choreography to students, developing their physical skills, creativity, confidence, and appreciation for dance in a safe and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver dance lessons for various age groups and skill levels

Teach dance techniques, routines, and choreography

Prepare students for performances, exams, competitions, and recitals

Design age-appropriate lesson plans and practice schedules

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Ensure proper warm-up, cool-down, and injury prevention practices

Maintain discipline and a supportive classroom environment

Coordinate with staff for events, shows, and rehearsals

Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development

Required Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Dance or relevant certification (preferred)

Formal training in one or more dance styles (e.g., Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Folk, Classical)

Teaching certification (if required)

Previous teaching or performance experience

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
