Classroom Assistant

• Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups
• Make sure that the Students you support can engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity
• Assist the SEN Teacher in today-to-day running of the class
• Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
• Support the SEN teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour and promoting positive behaviour
• Help with the planning of some lessons
• Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on students' progress
• Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing classroom resources and attendance
• Delivered personalized one-on-one support to students under the guidance of a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher.
• Ensured students’ well-being at all times
• Create art displays of pupils' artwork
• Help with extracurricular activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Childhood Education with Certificate of Equivalency
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with special needs students
• Good communication and writing skills in English
• Preferred UAE Female National
• SALARY NEGOTIABLE
