confident, experienced Lead Teacher
to guide a mixed-age classroom of children ages 3–5.
This is not just a teaching role—we are looking for someone who is comfortable
leading a classroom, setting expectations, supporting staff, and creating a strong, consistent environment
for both children and team members.

Duties
🎯
What You’ll Do

Lead a mixed-age classroom with confidence, structure, and consistency

Plan and implement emergent, play-based learning experiences

Support children’s social-emotional development and independence

Guide and support assistant teachers within the classroom

Maintain a calm, organized, and engaging environment

Communicate effectively with families and leadership

Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety standards
Requirements

Qualifications

Experience as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare setting preferred

Wisconsin Registry credentials (or willingness to obtain)

Strong understanding of play-based and emergent curriculum

Excellent communication and leadership skills
