Make a Difference—One Child at a Time

Are you someone who loves working with children and desires to use your gifts to help them learn and grow—academically, socially, and spiritually? At The Learning Center, part of the Kids Alley mission, we are seeking dedicated, energetic, and compassionate individuals to serve as classroom staff in our after-school program.

You’ll work with children from Kindergarten through 8th grade, helping them succeed through homework help, academic enrichment, extra curricular activities —all within a Christ-centered, nurturing environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting students with homework and providing tutoring and enrichment activities
  • Supporting students with individualized attention and encouragement
  • implement lessons and activities
  • Fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Encouraging positive behavior and social-emotional development
  • Behavior management using trauma-informed care practices
  • Maintaining a clean and organized learning space

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children in a classroom, childcare, or youth program setting
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for helping children grow in confidence, character, and academics
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
  • Trauma-informed care training or experience (helpful, but not required)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking (preferred)

Bonus If You:

  • Have experience in early childhood education or elementary instruction
  • Speak or another second language
