Classroom Teacher

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and supporting children's growth and development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, ensuring their well-being while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide care for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring safety at all times.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Execute educational activities that align with childhood development principles.
• Administer first aid when necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, daycare, or preschool is preferred.
• Familiarity with childhood development concepts is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable or willing to obtain credentials.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to manage behavior positively and constructively.
• One of the following is preferred, but not required for full time candidates: Child Development Associate credential, Bachelor's degree in any field, teaching license from the Minnesota Department of Education with or without a Kindergarten endorsement, or willing to work towards the credentials.
