Aartaa Decor is a premium home décor brand known for luxury chandeliers, pendant lights, wall art, sculptures, mirrors, and bespoke decorative pieces. Our philosophy blends traditional artistry with contemporary luxury, creating statement pieces for high-end residential and commercial interiors. To strengthen our artistic division, we are looking for a professionally trained Clay Artist with an MFA or BFA background.

Position Overview

The Clay Artist will be responsible for conceptualizing, sculpting, and developing original clay-based artworks and decorative sculptures aligned with Aartaa Decor’s luxury aesthetic. This role requires strong artistic vision, technical mastery, and the ability to translate creative concepts into production-ready art pieces.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original clay sculptures and decorative art pieces for home décor and luxury interiors.
• Develop concepts, sketches, and clay models based on design briefs and market trends.
• Execute detailed sculpting work with a strong focus on form, proportion, texture, and finish.
• Collaborate with design, CAD, and production teams to adapt artworks for molding, casting, and large-scale production when required.
• Work with different clay types and finishes suitable for premium décor applications.
• Ensure artworks meet Aartaa Decor’s quality, durability, and aesthetic standards.
• Participate in new product development, collections, and custom art projects.
• Maintain studio discipline, material usage records, and proper handling of tools and artworks.

Qualifications & Experience

• MFA or BFA in Fine Arts (Sculpture / Ceramics / Applied Arts) from a recognized institution.
• Strong academic foundation in sculpture, form study, and material exploration.
• Proven experience as a clay artist, sculptor, or ceramic artist (portfolio required).
• Understanding of sculpture for décor, interiors, and luxury product applications.
• Knowledge of surface treatments, textures, and finishing techniques.
• Experience working with molds, prototypes, or artisan-led production is an advantage.

• High level of artistic creativity and craftsmanship.
• Strong attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility.
• Ability to convert artistic ideas into commercially viable décor products.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Discipline, patience, and commitment to long-form artistic work.

• Location: 26B, Christopher Rd, Seal Lane, Entally, Kolkata, West Bengal 700046
• Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Compensation: As per your work 12000 - 25000
