Cleaner (part-time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in a commercial setting. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
• Execute commercial cleaning tasks such as sanitizing surfaces and restrooms to maintain a healthy environment.
• Conduct industrial cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Carry out floor care activities including buffing, waxing, and polishing to enhance the appearance of flooring surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in facilities by regularly emptying trash receptacles and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Assist with residential painting projects when required, ensuring proper preparation and cleanup of work areas.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or necessary repairs to management promptly.
• Act as a porter when needed, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment during cleaning operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and safety standards is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards consistently.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively, including floor buffers and vacuums.
• Excellent time management skills with the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service in all interactions.
