Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain attractive and durable flooring.
• Handle janitorial duties like waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment for optimal operation.
• Execute custodial and industrial cleaning procedures in various environments, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups in residential settings, or basic upkeep in commercial facilities.
• Support porter responsibilities by moving furniture or equipment as needed and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.
• Follow detailed cleaning checklists and safety guidelines to ensure consistent quality across all assigned sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning services, janitorial work, custodial duties, or related fields; commercial cleaning or industrial experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and general maintenance.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care or repair.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.

Pay: $40.00 - $140.00 per day
