Team Lead Cleaner – Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Team Lead Cleaner to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure our quality standards are consistently met. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the cleaning team during daily jobs, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and correctly.
- Train new cleaners on company standards, checklists, products, and proper cleaning techniques.
- Perform high-quality cleaning alongside the team, including residential, commercial, and Airbnb turnover tasks.
- Complete inspections to ensure each property meets company standards before leaving the job.
- Communicate with management about job progress, team performance, supply needs, or any issues that arise.
- Use the company’s scheduling and checklist software to clock in/out, track tasks, and submit photos or notes.
- Manage time on job sites, ensuring the team finishes within expected timeframes.
- Handle keys, codes, alarms, and access instructions responsibly.
- Model professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience required; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with both staff and management.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and support the team.
- Comfortable using mobile apps for schedules, checklists, and communication.
