Cleaner/Housekeeper

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various environments, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for clients, residents, or guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings, contributing to the overall hygiene and appearance of the premises.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface disinfecting
• Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with laundry services and linen management when required
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
• Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
• Manage custodial responsibilities in hotel or hospitality environments, including room turnover and housekeeping management tasks

Requirements

• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, residential cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Nice-to-have skills include cooking, laundry management, commercial cleaning experience, and housekeeper management skills
