Cleaner/Housekeeping

Chubby Cheeks Nursery is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic FEMALE Cleaner to support the branch in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors. The Cleaner plays a vital role in ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, contributing to a healthy and positive learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, washrooms, corridors, offices, and common areas
• Clean and sanitize toys, learning materials, and play areas as required
• Ensure all areas meet health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
• Follow cleaning schedules and nursery policies and procedures
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management
• Support special cleaning requirements for events, inspections, or emergencies
• Work cooperatively with staff to ensure minimal disruption to nursery activities

Skills & Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Friendly attitude and willingness to support a childcare environment
• Ability to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines
