Cleaner/Janitor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team for a morning shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in work areas, cafeterias, and restrooms. Proof of citizenship and background check may be required for all qualifying candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
• Maintain floors through various methods such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Handle custodial duties including waste disposal, recycling management, and restocking supplies.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a clean environment.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Assist in scheduled cleaning projects as directed.

Skills

• Proven experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving objects.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and addressing issues as they arise.
