Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques such as buffing and floor care.
• Conduct janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring spaces are tidy and presentable.
• Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, or industrial cleaning projects as needed.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently, including buffers and floor polishers to maintain flooring quality.
• Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning operations to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules promptly and thoroughly.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of proper cleaning procedures.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing manual tasks throughout the shift.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
