Cleaning Team Member

At Beehive Meals in Layton, Utah, clean isn't optional - it's mission critical. As a Facility Cleaning Team Member, you'll help maintain a safe, sanitary, and food-compliant environment across our production facility.

This role supports our kitchen, warehouse, offices, and common areas to ensure we meet strict food safety, SQF, and OSHA standards. If you take pride in a job well done and notice the details others miss, you'll fit right in.

Schedule: Part-time, the work schedule will vary between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

What You'll Do

• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks throughout the facility

• Sweep, mop, wash, and sanitize floors, surfaces, and equipment using approved chemicals and procedures

• Follow cleaning schedules and checklists; document completed tasks accurately

• Remove trash, clean dishes, and maintain orderly workspaces

• Assist with deep cleaning of coolers, freezers, and production areas

• Monitor and restock supplies such as soap, sanitizer, and paper products

• Report maintenance or sanitation concerns promptly

• Follow all SQF food safety and OSHA safety guidelines

• Wear required PPE at all times while on the production floor

What We're Looking For

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or sanitation experience preferred

• Experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment is a plus

• Basic knowledge of cleaning tools, equipment, and chemical handling procedures

• Strong attendance and reliability - this team counts on you

• Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

• Positive attitude and team-first mindset

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements

• Lift, carry, and move items weighing 15–50 pounds

• Work in production environments that may include cooler or freezer areas

• Wear hairnets, gloves, masks, safety glasses, and other required protective gear
