Cleaning Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and common areas to promote health and safety standards
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials as needed
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution
• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistent quality across all assigned areas
• Maintain detailed records of completed tasks and supplies used during each shift

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning in all designated areas
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper safety procedures is a plus but not mandatory
