Cleaning Technician

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a spotless appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other common areas by sanitizing surfaces and replenishing supplies.
• Use janitorial supplies and environmental services equipment responsibly to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to support facility maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services within commercial or institutional settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and other environmental services tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
