Cleaning Technician (Part Time)

Position Summary

The Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing high-quality commercial cleaning services at industrial and restaurant locations throughout the Metro Detroit area. This is a hands-on role for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and follows established cleaning standards, safety procedures, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning services at commercial, industrial, and restaurant locations
• Clean floors, restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and other assigned areas according to company standards
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and properly
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times
• Ensure work areas are cleaned thoroughly and meet quality expectations
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs to the Team Lead or management
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all client sites

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not required
• Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to job sites throughout Metro Detroit
• Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with work schedules (evenings/weekends may be required)
• Must be able to pass a background check with no history of violent offenses or theft-related offenses
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work for extended periods

Preferred Skills

• Experience cleaning restaurants, kitchens, or industrial facilities
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning products, equipment, and best practices
• Basic communication skills
