Clearing & Forwarding Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clearing & Forwarding Specialist to manage and execute all aspects of import and export documentation and customs clearance within Dubai. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for customs matters, ensuring all shipments comply with local regulations and are processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute the complete clearing and forwarding process for air, sea, and land shipments.

Prepare, review, and submit accurate documentation for customs declarations (e.g., Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Commercial Invoices, Packing List, Certificate of Origin).

Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of all Dubai Customs rules, regulations, tariffs, and procedures for various commodities.

Liaise directly with Dubai Customs, shipping lines, airlines, and transport companies to resolve any issues and expedite cargo clearance.

Ensure timely payment of duties, taxes, and other charges.

Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and provide regular reports on clearance status.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven, demonstrable experience in a Clearing & Forwarding role, specifically within Dubai/UAE.

In-depth and current knowledge of Dubai Customs rules, regulations, and systems (e.g., Mirsal 2 or similar platform).

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

A valid UAE Driving License is highly preferred.

A relevant degree or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
