Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to join our dynamic team! This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to support daily office operations, ensure smooth administrative workflows, and deliver exceptional customer service. As a key member of our office environment, you will handle a variety of clerical tasks, coordinate communication channels, and contribute to an organized, efficient workplace. Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk duties, greeting visitors and clients with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and direct calls accurately using proper phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office management tools
  • Handle filing, document proofreading, and ensure all paperwork is organized and accessible
  • Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software when needed
  • Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments for team members or executives
  • Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries efficiently and courteously
  • Support office management tasks such as supply ordering, mail distribution, and general administrative duties

Requirements

  • Proven office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with office management procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and basic computer literacy
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette standards
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, personal assistant, or construction / real estate development / property managment receptionist is a plus
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks is preferred but not required
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
