Clerical Assistant

Purchasing Department – Tri‑State Materials (Menifee, CA)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Compensation: Great pay based on experience
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

Tri‑State Materials is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented team member to join our Purchasing Department. This position supports daily purchasing operations, vendor communication, and internal coordination to keep our materials yard running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry for purchase orders, invoices, and inventory
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist vendors/customers professionally
  • Use QuickBooks for basic purchasing and accounting tasks
  • Coordinate with others to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Support general office tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Ability to type 50+ WPM
  • Some experience with QuickBooks
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable with phones, computers, and data entry
  • Ability to start immediately

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience with landscape materials, aggregates, or construction supply
  • (We are willing to train the right candidate.)
