Essential Duties and Responsibilities include greeting parents, caregivers, and preschool-aged children in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner. Must be able to answer incoming telephone calls, obtain relevant information, and direct parents to the appropriate staff or services. Staff must be able to schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel preschool evaluation appointments in accordance with department procedures. The ability to accurately enter and maintain appointment and student information within district computer systems is a priority. Must be able to learn specific computer systems for data entry. Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies and the general public.
