Job Purpose

The Client Accountant is responsible for managing all financial transactions related to clients, including invoicing, collections, client account reconciliation, and escrow coordination. The role ensures accuracy, compliance with contractual terms, and timely reporting of client receivables.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Accounting & Receivables

  • Maintain accurate client ledgers and accounts in the accounting system.
  • Issue client invoices based on sales agreements and approved payment schedules.
  • Record and allocate client payments accurately against invoices.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.

Reconciliation & Compliance

  • Reconcile client accounts, statements, and balances on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Handle escrow-related transactions in line with local real estate regulations.
  • Support VAT calculations, invoicing, and reporting as applicable.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare aging reports, collection status reports, and receivables summaries.
  • Assist finance management with revenue tracking and forecasting.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation.

Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with Sales, Legal, and Customer Relations teams on client payment matters.
  • Assist with property handover clearance by confirming full settlement of client accounts.
  • Address client queries related to invoices, payments, and account balances professionally.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property development.
  • Knowledge of client accounting, receivables, and escrow processes.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong Excel skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of contracts and payment schedules.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
