To drive this growth, we are hiring a high-performing Client Acquisition Manager – Media / Production House to lead business development, client management, and project coordination in the region.
Role Description:
The Client Acquisition Manager – Media / Production House will be responsible for acquiring new business, managing clients, and strengthening Studio Underground’s footprint across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and nearby areas. This role involves networking, government liaison, proposal preparation, and end-to-end client handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage existing empanelments (NFDC, DIPR UK, DIPR UP, DIPR Haryana) to reach out to relevant departments and officers for project acquisition.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across government departments, PSUs, NFDC-aligned projects, communication agencies, and corporate clients.
Conduct client meetings, capability presentations, and negotiations to convert leads into projects.
Coordinate internally with Creative Director, Production Team, Writers, and Finance to create proposals, scripts, budgets, and pitch decks.
Prepare and submit tenders, RFPs, EoIs, empanelment documents , and follow up till closure.
Oversee ground-level Requirements in NCR: client communication, approvals, shoot coordination, schedules, and delivery follow-ups.
Maintain a structured database of leads, meetings, tenders, and project trackers.
Represent Studio Underground at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and networking platforms.
Submit monthly performance and market insight reports to management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in business development, client servicing, or government liaison—preferably in media production, advertising, films, or digital agencies.
Prior experience with government tenders, procurement rules, and documentation will be a significant advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to handle senior government officials, agency heads, and corporate decision-makers.
Target-driven mindset with excellent negotiation abilities.
Good understanding of film production, scripting, costing, and timelines.
Proficiency in English and Hindi (spoken and written).
Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with strong proposal-writing ability.
Ability to work independently and travel across Delhi–NCR as needed.
