QK Dogs is a professional canine boarding and training campus located on 100 acres in Northeastern Connecticut.

We operate with structure, clear systems, and defined standards. We are not a daycare environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Client Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations and deliver a polished, efficient client experience.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, comfort interacting with a mix of clients ranging from neighbors to discerning HNW clients, and the ability to stay organized during busy check-in and check-out periods.

Responsibilities

Client Service

  • Greet clients professionally at arrival and departure
  • Answer phones and manage email inquiries
  • Clearly explain services, scheduling, and policies
  • Maintain composure during high-volume periods
  • Handle client questions and concerns with confidence

You must be comfortable serving clients who expect efficiency, clarity, and competence.

Scheduling & Administrative Support

  • Book boarding and training reservations
  • Operate kennel management software (training provided; Gingr experience a plus)
  • Process payments and deposits accurately
  • Maintain organized client records
  • Communicate daily updates with kennel and training teams

Retail & Product Support

  • Recommend appropriate retail items and food
  • Maintain front retail presentation
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (dog food and supplies)

Facility Presentation

  • Maintain a clean, professional lobby
  • Restock forms and brochures
  • Follow dress code and present professionally

Light Animal Handling

  • Assist with leash transfers as needed
  • Be comfortable around all breeds and sizes
  • Understand basic vaccination requirements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years professional customer service experience
  • Hospitality, veterinary, medical, or structured office background preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using computer systems and scheduling software
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs

Animal care experience is helpful but not required for the right professional candidate.

Schedule

Full-Time
Includes weekends and some holidays
Consistent weekly schedule

Compensation & Benefits

$22–$27 per hour based on experience and professionalism
