HCLSoftware is seeking a high-performing
Client Director
to lead strategic software sales within the
BFSI sector
, focused specifically on
Private Sector Banks
. This individual contributor role, based in
Mumbai
, is responsible for managing key banking relationships, growing existing accounts, and winning new logos by leveraging HCLSoftware’s extensive product portfolio.
The role requires deep industry knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to engage confidently with
CXO-level stakeholders
across private banking institutions. You’ll work in close alignment with internal teams across Customer Success, Solutioning, and Product to deliver tailored solutions that solve business challenges and drive digital transformation for clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Own the full sales cycle for assigned
Private Sector Bank
accounts — from pipeline creation to closure.

Build and grow trusted relationships with
CXOs
, digital transformation leaders, and key IT decision-makers.

Drive revenue across HCLSoftware’s portfolio, including
Business and Industry Applications, Intelligent Operations, Total Experience, Data & Analytics, and Cybersecurity
.

Identify and develop opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and new business development.

Coordinate with internal technical and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution and ongoing value delivery.

Maintain accurate forecasts, account plans, and reporting in line with business objectives.
Mandatory Requirements:

15+ years of overall IT sales experience
, with a minimum of
5+ years in enterprise software (COTS/solutions) sales
.

Demonstrated success managing and expanding relationships within
Private Sector Banks
.

Strong connections and influence within
CXO circles
across leading private banking institutions.

Prior experience with
large software OEMs
is highly preferred.

Based in
Mumbai
, with flexibility to travel across the region as needed.

Proven track record in closing large, complex software deals and driving digital initiatives within BFSI clients.

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.
