Client HR Advisor - Remote

The Role

We're hiring a Client HR Advisor to serve as a trusted point of contact for our clients on day-to-day HR matters, with a particular focus on employee relations. You'll work directly with client leaders and managers to navigate workplace issues, coach through difficult conversations, ensure compliant outcomes, and help build healthier teams.

This is a remote, full-time role for someone with 2–4 years of HR experience who's ready to move beyond internal generalist work and into a client-facing advisory seat.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for an assigned portfolio of client accounts
  • Advise client managers and leaders on employee relations matters — performance issues, conflicts, complaints, terminations, accommodations, and workplace investigations
  • Conduct and document workplace investigations with discretion and sound judgment
  • Coach managers through difficult conversations and corrective action processes
  • Interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple client jurisdictions
  • Help draft and update employee handbooks, policies, and ER documentation
  • Support clients through leave administration (FMLA, ADA, state leaves) and accommodation requests
  • Identify patterns in client cases and recommend proactive solutions
  • Maintain accurate case records and contribute to ongoing client reporting

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of HR experience, with meaningful exposure to employee relations
  • Strong working knowledge of federal employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII) and willingness to learn multi-state nuances
  • Excellent judgment — you know when to act, when to escalate, and how to document
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you can deliver tough messages clearly and professionally
  • Discreet and trustworthy — you'll regularly handle highly sensitive information
  • Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and shifting priorities
  • Self-directed in a remote environment
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
  • Reliable home office with quiet workspace and high-speed internet
