Role Overview

As a Business Insurance Client Manager, you will serve as a key partner to Advisors, Carriers, and Clients by managing the ongoing service and support of a book of commercial insurance business. You’ll play a critical role in onboarding new clients, supporting renewals, managing the entirety of an account hitting on deliverables set forth, and ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, pride in your work, and a genuine desire to help business owners navigate the often-complex world of business insurance. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams while acting as a trusted point of contact for client service needs.

What YOU are good at

  • Building strong, professional relationships with clients, carriers and internal team members
  • Communicating clearly and confidently via phone, email, and written documentation
  • Managing multiple priorities while staying organized and detail-oriented
  • Taking ownership of client needs and resolving issues efficiently and empathetically
  • Reviewing and processing policies against binders and proposals after placement
  • Handling certificates of insurance, endorsements, audits, and other policy servicing tasks
  • Reviewing insurance requirements and confidently ensure current policy language supports clients signed contracts, detailing where need for coverage is.
  • Answering questions related to billing, coverage, and policy changes
  • Escalating and triaging complex issues in collaboration with Advisors and Client Support teams
  • Managing a small book of business, serviced through carrier service centers
  • Sharing workload collaboratively across a service team and supporting team success
  • Maintaining patience, positivity, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and familiarity with agency systems (e.g., Epic)
