Client Relations Specialist (Receptionist) (Cave Creek)

Job Summary:

The Client Relationship Specialist works in the front lobby and provides the first impression for clients by providing WOW client service.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes patients and clients to the hospital by greeting patients and clients in person and on the telephone and answering inquiries or referring questions to other staff members

  • Update patient records

  • Process payments

  • Retrieve prescriptions

  • Assist clients with pet supply and grooming purchases

  • Maintains front lobby area in a clean, neat, and orderly condition

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • A calm, compassionate, and reassuring demeanor with the ability to deal with the public and assist distraught clients

  • Basic office skills such as typing, filing, and professional phone etiquette

  • Good organization skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, reading and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time

  • Walking, sitting, squatting, pushing, pulling, using hands and fingers

  • Assist in animal restraint or helping animals on/off scale

4-day work week, ability to work some Saturdays
