I run a boutique corporate and M&A law practice focused on small business transactions, entity governance, and trademarks. I’m seeking a part-time contractor to help me stay connected with my top referral partners, prospective clients, and professional network — with a focus on relationship-building, outreach, and scheduling.
What You’ll Do:
-
Track ~25–50 key contacts (brokers, CPAs, advisors, past clients) and help me maintain regular touchpoints.
-
Send pre-drafted follow-up emails, messages, and check-in notes (I will review/approve everything; no legal communication required).
-
Schedule virtual coffee chats, check-in calls, and occasional in-person meetings (including helping plan a week of meetings in Los Angeles).
-
Coordinate small online roundtables or client webinars by sending invitations and tracking RSVPs.
-
Keep a simple relationship tracker updated with last contact date, next follow-up, and any relevant notes.
What You’ll Need:
-
Excellent written communication skills and a professional tone.
-
Strong organizational skills and comfort working independently.
-
Ability to manage outreach in a thoughtful, human way — not robotic mass emails.
-
Experience in a professional services setting (legal, consulting, financial, or similar) is a plus.
Details:
-
Contract role, 5–10 hours per week.
-
Fully remote and flexible hours.
-
$25 – $35/hr; based on experience.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys
building relationships behind the scenes
and helping a business grow without direct sales pressure. You’ll work closely with me to make sure our outreach always feels thoughtful, strategic, and aligned with my voice.
