We are looking for a Client Services Lead who enjoys building trusted client relationships as much as solving accounting challenges.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

Location: Remote, preference will be given to candidates located in the Tucson metropolitan area.

Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week average

What You'll Do

As a Client Services Lead, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients while ensuring engagements are accurate, timely, and aligned with firm standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing client relationships and serving as the primary client contact
• Explaining financial statements clearly and confidently
• Overseeing both simple and complex accounting engagements
• Applying accrual-basis, GAAP accounting principles
• Reviewing financial information for accuracy and completeness
• Preparing and filing TPT returns and 1099s
• Leading onboarding for new clients
• Supporting workflow management for assigned engagements
• Providing technical guidance and training to other staff
• Assisting with development and refinement of internal processes and SOPs
• Contributing to proposals and scope discussions

A significant portion of our client base consists of nonprofit organizations. Experience with nonprofit accounting, grant tracking, restricted funds, and board reporting is highly valued.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accrual-basis, GAAP accounting
• Experience managing client relationships
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Preferred:

• Public accounting experience
• Experience working in a multi-client environment
• QuickBooks Online experience
• Nonprofit accounting experience
• Experience with grant tracking and restricted funds

A degree is not required if you can demonstrate strong accounting knowledge and client leadership experience.
