What to Expect
The Client Services Manager role is a relationship‑driven, field‑focused position that blends business development, client retention, and operational support in the disaster response and environmental restoration space. You will spend much of your time engaging government and commercial clients within an assigned region strengthening pre‑event contracts, understanding procurement processes, and positioning Ceres for future activations while maintaining strong awareness of competitors and market dynamics. During disaster events, this role becomes highly hands‑on: supporting client communications, monitoring deployments, assisting Operations with compliance and reporting, and spending extended time in impacted areas as needed. Success requires comfort with travel, a matrixed environment, shifting priorities, and high‑pressure conditions, as well as the ability to balance long‑term relationship building with real‑time execution during critical events.
Location of Position
This position will require extensive travel. Much of the work is expected to be in an assigned region or event. CS Manager visits current and prospective clients in the assigned region or event. Overnight trips will include participation in several annual trade shows, and visits to exceptional clients who may be outside of the region or event. During an approaching hurricane, after landfall or after another storm event, an extended period may be spent in the affected area of the storm.
