Client Training Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Client Training Specialist to join our team and support the delivery of engaging training experiences for automotive technicians, advisors, and managers. In this entry‑level role, you will help facilitate training sessions using our specialized training guides, primarily in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable presenting in a virtual environment, and able to adjust their approach to meet different learning styles. You will work closely with experienced trainers and the broader Training Team to build your skills, support client learning, and contribute to a collaborative and positive training experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to improve your training and communication skills while making a meaningful impact on client success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct effective training sessions for clients using the guide provided, ensuring a thorough understanding of our software and its applications.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in various training settings, maintaining open communication with trainees to enhance database content.
  • Manage customer information within Google Sheets.
  • Become proficient in using the managers' dashboard and conduct manager recap meetings.
  • Assist the Training Support team as needed and collaborate closely with the supervisory team to foster strong working relationships.
  • Punctuality and attendance reliability are crucial, along with the ability to take on additional duties assigned by leadership.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Demonstrate success in various remote settings with sensitivity to different learning styles.
  • Attend conference calls and meetings as needed, fostering open communication with the supervisory team, and striving to develop strong working relationships with all members of the Training Team.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Consistent reliability and punctuality in meeting attendance requirements.
  • Foster open communication with each trainee and actively develop and strengthen database content.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to foster open communication and adapt to varying learning styles.
  • Maintain a professional remote work environment to ensure high-quality training sessions.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience using Zoom (or similar) for all web training sessions. Be able to execute all Zoom functions (start/end sessions, mute attendees, monitor attendees, assign host, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets, Microsoft Teams, and other business tools.
  • Become familiar with and able to write stories in the Pencilwrench application, maintaining a thorough understanding of the software and training program.
  • Access, utilize, and update the dealer’s information within Google Sheets.
  • Become proficient in using the managers’ dashboard and perform manager review recap meetings.
