We are seeking a part-time dedicated, passionate, entry-level Clinic Aide working with pediatrics.
Clinic Aides are an integral component to the success of a family at LPT. Clinic Aides work under the direct supervision of a leading therapist in assisting the clinicians and administrative staff by performing requested duties and responsibilities. These include maintaining clinic space in good order and cleanliness, overseeing treatment areas for compliance of safety and sanitation regulations, and supporting administrative staff in the execution of their duties.
Clinic Aide responsibilities:
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying and overseeing compliance with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Maintains cleanliness and order of all treatment areas efficiently after each session.
- Ensures the proper and safe operation of therapy equipment and tools by completing frequent checks, preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs. Communicates with staff the need for replacement or purchase of tools and equipment when necessary.
- Maintains supply inventory by checking stock every other week to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders for supplies, verifying receipt of all orders, and ensures proper distribution.
- Instructs, motivates, and assists patients with exercises and functional activities as prescribed under the supervision of physical therapists and their assistants- assuring patient safety at all times.
- Supports clinicians by completing various tasks- facilitating efficiency and quality of care.
- Scores and uploads various assessments into patient charts as needed.
- Maintains adequate copies of parent handouts and clinical assessments.
- Complete assigned projects in order to support clinical and administrative staff in the execution of their duties.
- Attend weekly facilitator meetings
- Conduct marketing research and assist with marketing projects as needed.
- Carry out administrative duties/tasks by working the front desk as needed. This includes and is not limited to: covering the front desk as necessary, checking in patients, collecting copays in the clinic or calling to collect copays for Telehealth sessions and maintaining the cleanliness of the front desk area.
Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
