Clinic Liaison/Lab Manager

HIWC is seeking a highly organized and hands-on Clinic Liaison / Lab Manager (Clinic Coordinator) to support daily operations, patient care coordination, and clinical growth. This role combines clinical skills with operational leadership and patient-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy for clinic and homebound patients
• Conduct Ultramist (bedside ultrasound therapy) treatments for patients (3x per week)
• Supervise and support in-house phlebotomy operations, including oversight of the Medical Assistant
• Coordinate wound care consults, including scheduling and patient follow-up
• Verify patient insurance coverage and manage appointment scheduling
• Assist in growing clinic volume through patient coordination and service efficiency
• Manage and track clinic and lab orders
• Supervise and provide guidance to the Medical Assistant

Qualifications:

• Certified or experienced Phlebotomist (required)
• Experience with ultrasound therapy / Ultramist preferred (training can be provided)
• Strong understanding of insurance verification and scheduling workflows
• Prior experience in clinic operations, wound care, or outpatient settings preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
