Clinic Manager

A Clinic manager acts as a liaison between the clinical staff and the recipients of health care services.

Effectively manages all operational aspects of the assigned clinics. Works closely with staff and providers to ensure that all fiduciary and clinic goals are met. Pro-actively determines workload priorities through planning, coordination and managing staff and providers to meet the administrative, operational and support requirements. Engages staff and promotes a positive culture that prioritizes human-kindness and patient-centric care consistent with Medical Services mission, vision, and values.

  • To participate in work groups, teams, task forces and committees to support ongoing improvement in clinic operations. To provide value-added and productive input and expertise to drive continual improvement, support standardization and streamlining and to resolve ongoing patient care issues.
  • To support the established processes and systems to enhance customer service. To provide coaching to staff to enhance customer service skills and ensure patients and internal employees and providers receive excellent customer service. To ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, providers and visitors, and to operate centers in compliance with all legal, HealthPlus .
  • To maintain an effective working relationship with all Physicians, and Centers employee .
  • To ensure the promotion of the philosophy and values of the Organization mission among all employees .
  • To ensure that quality of services is provided as per standards of DOH and JCI .
  • To participate in all JCI related activities .
  • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of short and long term strategic plans aimed at achieving the mission and goals of United Eastern Medical Services (UEMedical) .
  • To ensure the effective delivery of high quality patient care .
  • To ensure the effective operation of a quality improvement process for UEMedical, including the periodic assessment of patient satisfaction .
  • To ensure that safety of all employees, patients, physicians, guests, visitors and others is adequately addressed and protected .
  • To ensure that patient satisfaction is maintained at every opportunity and to provide opportunities for regular feedback including the implementation of patient surveys .
  • To foster an environment within the team that supports staff development and encourages ideas, taking into account staff opinions.
  • To report to the Director of Operations on a daily basis for any urgency .
  • To take corrective action in situations requiring immediate intervention, including interpretation and administration of the Medical Centers policy and work rules .
  • To support clinical, operational and facility services throughout the entire Medical Centers on a 24-hour basis .
  • To provide on-site management/leadership of crisis situations to prevent or minimize disruption of services .
  • To monitor emergency action procedures and coordinate activities related to patient/staff evacuation as needed .
  • To function as on-site coordinator for internal/external disasters or other major events .
  • Consolidates reviews and submits operational reports, reviews the significant/critical shift events, observations and concerns with the superior and assists in resolving the issues .



Requirements:


  • ducation: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Hospital Management or Equivalent .
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in similar position in Health Care Facility or Similar Organization .
