Within the clinic, they will oversee daily operations that drive access and quality across a large rural service area aligned with a Critical Access Hospital that serves as a community-focused rural healthcare provider. Reporting to the Director of Ambulatory Services the Clinical Operations Manager will lead front office staff, MAs, RNs, and PAs while collaborating with revenue cycle, quality, pharmacy, case management, and IT to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.
The Clinic Nurse Manager supervises all clinic operations including staffing, scheduling, workflow, and policy implementation while keeping providers informed of performance and challenges. They are responsible for hiring, onboarding, staff development, and performance management while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. The role also oversees patient access, scheduling, referrals, billing accuracy, and revenue cycle performance including KPI tracking, collections, and budget oversight for the Rural Health Clinic. Additional responsibilities include managing supplies, resolving patient concerns, supporting telehealth services, participating in quality improvement efforts, and ensuring compliance while promoting strong teamwork across the organization.
