Clinical Application Coordinator (Part-Time)

About Juno Health

At Juno Health, we're not just building software—we're transforming healthcare. As a division of DSS, Inc., Juno Health has specialized in developing forward-thinking health information solutions for more than 35 years. We are driven by a mission to improve patient care through innovative technology, and we're looking for dedicated professionals who share that passion.

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Clinical Application Coordinator (CAC) to join our team in a part-time, fully remote capacity. In this role, you will serve as a key resource in supporting VistA/vxVistA and its related modules through software configuration, troubleshooting, and end-user training. You will also have the opportunity to train Clinical Application Coordinators at client sites that wish to build their own internal CAC teams. If you thrive at the intersection of healthcare and information technology and are passionate about improving patient care through smarter systems, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Part-Time Clinical Application Coordinator at Juno Health, you will play a critical role in bridging clinical practice and technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as a Trusted Consultant – Act as a subject matter expert and consultant in the application of information technology to clinical practice, helping healthcare teams leverage CPRS/vxCPRS to its fullest potential.
  • Building Relationships – Maintain open, effective communication with customers and DSS staff to proactively identify needs, concerns, and opportunities for improvement related to CPRS/vxCPRS software and hardware.
  • Problem Identification & Resolution – Analyze user workflows to identify procedural challenges and CPRS/vxCPRS deficiencies, develop solutions, oversee implementation, and evaluate outcomes in terms of improved patient care.
  • System Configuration & Management – Develop and maintain forms, boilerplates, templates, menus, order sets, quick orders, and clinical reminders tailored to the needs of users and their institutions. Assign appropriate menus, electronic keys, and ASU roles to users.
  • Training & Education – Provide training to end users and staff as needed; design and develop learning materials for use in clinical settings; serve as a mentor and preceptor to guide and orient others in the use of VistA/CPRS/vxCPRS.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Act as a liaison between clinical and non-clinical staff regarding VistA/vxVistA/CPRS/vxCPRS. Coordinate with DSS staff and customers to facilitate smooth software and hardware updates and modifications.
  • Technical Support – Assist the support team in resolving reported issues with VistA/vxVistA/CPRS/vxCPRS software, drawing on VistA file structure knowledge to gather appropriate documentation.
  • Security & Compliance – Support the maintenance of computer security protocols and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Staying Current – Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advances and software development trends in healthcare automation, continuously bringing fresh insights to our clients and team.
