Ready to Make an Impact?
We are seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Pharmacy Technician or Emergency Medical Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with older adults aged 55 and older, helping them manage anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and health-related concerns. There is significant potential for professional development and advancement within our growing organization. This role would require travel to various assisted living and skilled nursing facilities within an hour (or less) of your home in the 5 boroughs.

What You Will Do

  • Clinical Support & Rounding: Conduct regular patient rounds to monitor well-being, provide a supportive presence, and accurately take/document vital signs.
  • Telehealth Facilitation: Serve as the technical lead for NP delivery services. You will ensure patients are prepared for virtual visits, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and remain present to assist the NP as needed.
  • Care Coordination: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the clinical team. You will help manage follow-up tasks, schedule appointments, and ensure care plans are being executed effectively.
  • Patient Advocacy: Observe and report changes in patient status to the NP, ensuring no detail in the patient’s recovery or care is overlooked.

Are You Someone Who Has

  • A certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA), Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification (required)
  • Experience working with older adults in a clinical setting (ages 55+) (required)
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to commute within an hour of your home (required)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a warm and empathetic therapeutic style
  • Comfort with technology and virtual care platforms (Zoom, Teams, or proprietary EHRs).
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese Or Spanish (preferred, but not required)

The base wage range for this position based in New York City is targeted at $47,000 – $51,000 (Full Time) and $22.50 – $24.50/hr (Part Time) per year. Part Time would require a minimum of 20 hours a week commitment to a set schedule. Not all benefits listed will apply to Part Time.
