1. Attend patient on admission & inform the senior resident/ consultant immediately.

2. Note the detailed history of the patient.

3. Assist in performing the procedures – LP tracheotomy, tapping and catheterization.

4. Take rounds and inform seniors and consultants regarding patient’s condition daily at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. irrespective of their status, and as and when deemed necessary

5. Complete the MLC formalities in case of patients admitted under MLC.

6. Confirm OT bookings.

7. Receive the patient after surgery.

8. Coordinate with blood bank and arrange for Blood Transfusion.

9. Inform consultant regarding admissions and update them about patient’s status.

10. Inform ward sister about new admission and coordinate with consultants about immediate care plan.

11. Arrange for lab tests for the patient.

12. Contact external doctor if needed.

13. Accompany patient for investigations like imaging, procedures etc.

14. Take the individual round and record vitals.

15. Help shifting and positioning of the patient in some specific surgeries.

16. Assist in preparing discharge summary.

17. Attend all formalities with regard to discharge.

18. Give prescription and give necessary instructions about home care at the time of discharge

19. Arrange for ambulance service at the time of discharge.

20. Any other work assigned by the management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
