We're looking for a skilled, caring Clinical Assistant to join our team and help us deliver that experience every single day.

The Role

As a Clinical Assistant at 303 Smiles, you are at the heart of the patient experience. You'll work chairside with Dr. Straffon, assisting with a wide range of orthodontic procedures — from bonding and wire changes to Invisalign scans and appliance adjustments. You're the reassuring presence that makes a nervous 10-year-old feel at ease and the skilled hands that help deliver the 303 Signature Smile. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their clinical work, loves working with people of all ages, and thrives in a collaborative, upbeat environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist Dr. Straffon chairside with orthodontic procedures including bonding, debonding, wire changes, separators, and appliance placement
• Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and iTero/3D scans
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization protocols are followed
• Deliver clear, friendly patient and parent education on treatment progress and home care
• Assist with Invisalign fittings, attachments, and refinements
• Maintain accurate and timely chart documentation
• Support a smooth, efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Help keep the clinical environment organized, welcoming, and running like clockwork

What We're Looking For

• Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred — we're willing to train the right person with a dental background
• A warm, patient-first personality — you genuinely enjoy connecting with patients and families
• Comfortable working with children, teens, and adults in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
• Team player who communicates well and takes initiative
• Familiarity with digital imaging, iTero scanning, or orthodontic software is a plus
• Dental assisting certification or X-ray certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
