Clinical Assistant (Pre-Residency/ Pre-Med / Pre-PA Gap Year Opportunity – Neurology Clinic

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Assistant for our Orlando clinic who is planning to pursue Residency, medical school, PA school, or another healthcare career and is looking for meaningful, hands-on clinical experience.

This is not a passive role. You will work closely with providers, assist in procedures and therapy sessions, and gain exposure to real patient care, clinical workflows, and multidisciplinary treatment.

This is a 12-month role designed for individuals seeking meaningful clinical experience before pursuing Residency, medical or PA school.

You will gain hands-on exposure across clinical support, patient care coordination, and day-to-day clinic operations. Responsibilities will evolve over time based on performance, initiative, and clinic needs.

Candidates should be prepared to commit fully for the duration of the role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift.

Job Duties:

• Assist with clinical procedures and therapies (including neuro-based and rehabilitation treatments)
• Support physical therapy sessions and patient flow
• Assist providers with patient preparation and in-room support
• Help coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-ups
• Support front desk and administrative operations as needed
• Ensure clinic efficiency by anticipating provider and patient needs

What We’re Looking For

• Strong interest in pursuing Residency, medical school, PA school, or healthcare career
• Bachelor’s degree or currently completing one (science background preferred)
• Prior experience in a clinical setting (MA, scribe, tech, PT aide, etc.) strongly preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and professionalism with patients
• Willingness to take initiative and learn beyond assigned tasks
• High level of reliability and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assisting with procedures, physical therapy, or patient care
• Familiarity with EMRs and clinical documentation
• Experience coordinating referrals or working in a multidisciplinary clinic
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
