The Lebanon Valley College Department of Physical Therapy invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, clinical assistant/associate professor of physical therapy in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Responsibilities include teaching and active participation in scholarly activities, clinical activities, and professional service. Preference will be given to individuals with expertise in, but not limited to, pediatric physical therapy.
The anticipated start date is August 18, 2026. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Completion of an academic doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) in physical therapy or a related discipline, being enrolled in a post-professional doctoral program, or holding an APTA board certification in addition to a DPT degree is preferred. Previous teaching experience and evidence of scholarship is also preferred. Pennsylvania licensure eligibility is required.

The physical therapy program is fully accredited and is currently housed in the 60,000 sq ft Arnold Health Professions Pavilion which includes flexible classroom space with technologies that enhance teaching, a fully equipped human performance lab, a ten-table gross anatomy lab, and a robust faculty office suite, and houses our student-run free physical therapy clinic. Ten full-time faculty members, supplemented by a number of adjunct instructors, are responsible for the instruction of the professional phase of the curriculum.
