Role Overview
As a Clinical Care Liaison, you serve as a vital connection between clinical care and the overall patient experience. This role combines strong back-office clinical skills with thoughtful coordination and communication, ensuring each patient interaction is seamless, attentive, and aligned with our standard of care.

You will work closely with the physician and care team to support clinical workflows, coordinate services, and guide patients through their care with clarity and ease. A natural hospitality mindset and attention to detail are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with patients in a warm, professional, and attentive manner
• Support clinical operations, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and preparing for physician visits
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and assist with in-office procedures as needed
• Coordinate laboratory services, diagnostic imaging, and specialty referrals with a high level of follow-through
• Serve as a clinical point of contact, helping patients navigate care plans and next steps
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding instructions, results, and care coordination
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Ensure exam rooms, clinical supplies, and medications are organized and fully stocked
• Uphold strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
• Collaborate closely with the front office and leadership team to ensure a seamless patient experience from start to finish
• Anticipate patient needs and proactively address any barriers to care
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and high-performing team environment
• Commit to personal and professional growth within the practice

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a medical setting
• Strong back-office experience required, including injections, vitals, and clinical workflows
• Phlebotomy experience REQUIRED
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Athena experience is a plus)
• Solid understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy standards
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Clear, compassionate communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, high-touch team
• REQUIRED: A hospitality-driven mindset, with a natural ability to create a warm, attentive, and elevated patient experience
